Brief Description of Course:
Based on the premise that DIETS DON'T WORK, this program facilitates the participant’s ability to be guided by their own inner wisdom about what, when, and how to eat. By using mindfulness and mind-body practices such as meditation and yoga, participants can begin to distinguish between physical and emotional hunger, and gain a sense of body wisdom. Research has shown this program to be effective in improving body image, as well as reducing problematic eating behavior. Health care providers can use this information for their own life, as well as the lives with whom they serve.This online seminar will provide you with 5 CE/CPE upon completion of the post-test and the questionnaire.
